Sfrido Peeler in Mirror Polished Stainless Steel by Alessi

Sfrido, a potato peeler designed by Valerio Sommella, is part of the Objects Bijoux collection. The name "sfrido," meaning "scrap" in Italian, directly refers to the peelings produced when using the tool. The design is inspired by the myth of Sigurd, whose sword was so sharp it could cut through both an anvil and a dragon. The peeler’s shape resembles a ribbon, bending and twisting gracefully to form a protective cover for the blade. Its sleek, compact design ensures an ergonomic grip, allowing the user to hold it comfortably and making it suitable for peeling all kinds of vegetables
